(Isn’t that a catchy title for a post?)
First, the two boutique baby blankets I found on clearance at a new pottery place in town. They are commercially-made (boo!), but they were too cute to pass up. And they were inspiring. I’m sure I will do my own take on this with a project at some point.
Next, a book for crafters: Dover Publishing’s Children: A Pictorial Archive of Illustrations. I am going to attempt to print these on watercolor paper so that (duh) I can watercolor them and use them in future projects.
A bit of fabric on sale at Joann’s – its kind of "country" but I’m sure I can put it to good use – probably as a stuffie/softie.
And lastly, this graphic treasure I found at a garage sale for 10 cents (by the way, WHY is there no "cent" symbol on the keyboard?) It’s a rather small "dish" – about the size of a postcard – and I have no clue what it is used for, but I suspect it has something to do with sushi.

Shoot, I’d just look at the dish and be happy cuz it makes me smile. That or put candy in it.
I love candy.

Hang the dish on a wall. It can be an interesting piece of art.

Such cute finds!! I *know* I’ve seen fabric like that in the blankets (or something very similar)… I think circles and dots are kind of an “in” thing right now. The sale fabric is very similar (or appears to be from your scan) to E.’s bedding fabric. And I love, love, love the illustrations–cannot wait to see what you make from those!
Incidentally, you can make the ¢ sign by holding down the Alt key, and typing in “0162” on the numeric keypad (without the quotes). When you release the Alt key, the cent sign appears. In Word you can assign a short-cut key so as not to have to remember the ASCII code. (Just remember this from years of using WordPerfect, which was not shortcut driven but code driven…)
