Here’s what I want to know – how in the world does a teenager get such great hair?
Sarah is the oldest of four and will be the first (duh) to graduate. During most of the session, I kept wondering if her mom was thinking what people keep telling me: time flies.
Sarah had likely been warned about my process: I rarely meet my clients on location. Instead, I prefer to drive toward several places I have scouted, and choose on the spot based on the light. With a singular subject, it can be a bit off-the-cuff feeling, but she was game. She’ll go far with that “take-it-as-it-comes” attitude.
This just made me jealous. I did not get wind-blowing-in-my-hair + fantastic skin good looks at 17. I had glasses, braces, and wore oversized denim shirts my senior year.
Enjoy your year, Sarah!
